Bottle: Remember I drunk one in Malmedy many years ago and more recently had a bottle at home. Hazy darker yellow to orange colored beer with a medium airy but vast white head. Smell some fruits, wheat, hops, soap, some slight notes of something herby/spicy and some light sweet notes. Taste is a mix of light yeasty fruit notes like orange, abricot and apple, malts and barleys, some hops and light spicy most likely from the alcohol. Light to medium bitterness. Light hoppy fruity light bitter spicy light warm aftertaste. Medium carbo, soft tingly mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture. One of the many beers in this genre which is nothing exciting about, though it’s decent. I dig the name of this beer!

maupie (923) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - MAY 13, 2011
After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a thick dark blond color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a citrus touch . This beer smells fruity.

Tap at Max’s Taphouse. Pours lightly hazy pale gold with a medium, creamy white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is cereal, biscuit and straw malt with apple esters and faint earthy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with medium hops and bitterness, old fruity esters, cellar and cork notes and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

sayravai (4655) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 12, 2009
(Bottled) Hazy golden with a large, foamy head. Quite acidic, pale-malty aroma with honey and fruit hints. Vegetably-malty flavor with some apple fruitiness and hints of caramel, metal and alcohol. Yeast is in big flakes, so it doesn’t really make the flavor smoother, until you pour in the very last drops. Medium body with clearly present alcohol and reasonably soft carbonation. A simple and quite alcoholic triple.
