Roodbruine kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt zuur en fruitig. Smaakt voor mij te zuur.

Bottled @ Camping Ratebeers 2014, small sample. Slight hazy copper to brown color, short frothy head. Aroma is fruity, grapes, tart, acetic acid, slight citric acid. Quite sour taste, some caramelly sweetness, slight fruity note. Balance goes slightly towards the acetic acid, but is kept into moderation by all the other flavors, which saves the beer and makes it quite nice. Though impossible to finish a large glass.

Bottle: Served in a Cantillon glass: Brown pour. Small sized creamy vanilla foamy head on top of a hazy brown copper colored beer. Aroma reminds me a bit of the Belgian Oud Brown: yeast (wild and lacto), wood (sweetwood and some older oak), some caramel and brown sugars, berries (all (sour) kinds) and some light malty (toast). Flavours of vinegar, a hint of balsamico, brown sugars, wild yeast, berries, tart and sour, wood, caramel, some sour burn and bitters. Sour dominates everything, quite logic of course! Aftertaste is sour, vinegar, sour fruit, caramel and wood. Low carbo, watery mouthfeel, full bodied and a watery light dry tart texture! Quite a nice beer but nothing really complex or deep and way, read: WAY to expensive!
