U.S. Meets Europe. A collaboration with De Molen Brouwerij and Hoppin’ Frog Brewery. Kilos of American hops to add a crazy twist to this European-style ale. 75 cl. bottle, corked & caged sampled / shared @ Tim’s De Molen & assorted beers tasting // fun label, typical Molen stuff but with the two breweries logos, it looks a bit funny // dark brown, murky, creamy white head // smell is supercharged, lots of Hoppin’ Frog hops, their typical profile, works great in this context, lots of pine, touch earthly, three bark, grapefruit, bitter herbs // taste is sugar, banana, caramel – I am way more into sweetness than hoppyness, so the added sweetness works for me – bitter Hoppin’ Frog / USA hops, lots of pine, sticky, three bark, plenty of pine, sugar blended with Molen spices en spicy yeast, sharp, touch dark fruits, great blend of both breweries styles // lightly sticky, quite full with all of the hops jammed in this plus sweet, touch sticky malts // I know that loving this seems stubborn since others were quite turned off by this but I genuinely loved this & think that this is a great blend of both breweries signatures // fine stuff

Happily can say I have had at least 4 bottles of this beauty when it first came out. It is my favorite of the series. Today opened a bottle having laid down 3 months ago. BOOM! Flavor a bit more mature with sweet malt off the top & still a nice citrusy hop finish. Still have another bottle left which I hope to crack in 6 mos or so....if I can wait.

Amber ruby in the glass. Medium offwhite head that lasts. Aroma of citrus and sweetness. Great mouthfeel, and supersweet taste. Alot of candysugar in the taste, almost quad-like. Also quite spicy. Hoppy aftertaste. This is my kind of beer! Definately the best sIPA I’ve had so far.

Pours a golden amber and translusent with a tiny white head that disappears. Smells like saison - citrus and yeast. Almost chewable, extremely sweet but is balanced out by the hops of the IPA and the spices. Recomendable!

Complexa aromàticament: llúpol fresc, fruites tropicals,... Amb molt de cos. Textura cremosa en boca. Final llarg, amarg i alcohòlic. Perillosament fantàstica.

Bottle from Nina’s. Pours an amber colour with a decent white head. A fantastic dry hopped saison nose. Similar flavours with well balanced alcohol. Moderate carbonation and nicely bitter. A fantastic beer!

Pours light brown with a small off white head. Nose is straw, bready cinnamon rolls, pine and hay. Taste is mostly bitter with a good sweet malt backbone. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean yet soft and smooth. Body is heavy and finish is long. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
