75 cl corked bottle @ home. Pours hazy reddish amber with an off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is dried fruit, caramel, yeast, spices, and alcohol. Flavour is dried fruit, caramel, and spices – with some warming alcohol in the bitter finish.

Bottle at CGarvie tasting. It pours deep reddish-amber with a thick yellow-white head. The nose is fresh pine, orange, tangerine, marmalade, varnish, stewed pear and green apple. The taste is tangy orange, tangerine, pine, earth, spice, varnish, candy, apple, pear drops and a touch of alcohol warmth with a dry, bitter finish. Medium-full body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Good bitter-sweet balance. Tasty stuff.

Big foamy white head. Great choppy evergreen nose. Good ticklish sweetness balanced with bitterness.orangey golden colour. Sweet but just controlled enough for me.

Bottle @ Beer Temple. Hazy golden colour, off-white head. Nose is plasticine, sweet malted, bit citric, oranges. Flavour is sweet malted, bit sugary, alcohol noticable. Finish is fairly sweet.

Bottled @ Beertemple, 9 months old. Slightly hazy golden color, medium head. Aroma is quite spicy, after 9 months the saison yeast comes out much better than when fresh. Hops are a bit less and the malt base is balanced a bit more. It feels like a super-charged version of the Jaar & Dag now. Still quite some malt and a little alcohol to make it a big sipper. Much better now the yeast comes through.

Bottle, 75cl - Hazy amber beer with a large head. Aroma is fruity with notes of spices, peaches, candyfloss, oranges and dried fruit. Flavor is fruity with notes of oranges, candyfloss, dried fruit and spices. Wow, fantastic spicy beer. Lots of nice sweetness, yet very balanced thanks to the enormous amounts of spiciness in it..
