On tap at Gouda Winterbierfestival. Hazy amber with no head. Overwhelming whiskey aroma and flavour that dominates over almost everything else. Not a good BA beer.

On tap at Gouda PINT Winterbierfestival 22nd Jan 2012. Hazy dark amber pour with almost no head. Whisky taste overpowers the hops which is unfortunate.

Sampled @ PINT Winterbierfestival, Gouda 2012. Hazy dark orange color, small off-white head. Aroma is very sweet and winey plus a lot of alcohol. Taste sweet, very winey, lots of alcohol again. Ok carbo, medium body.

On tap at PINT Winterbierfestival ’12. Hazy dark amber colour, thin head. Aroma of lots of vanilla, oak, wood, tannins, sweet buttered corn, malts, bourbon. It’s off, but not unpleasant imo. Flavour is harsh, bitter but not of hops, plastic like, dead yeast (?), malts, weird fruitiness, off bitter finish. Way over the hill imo. Too bad, could’ve been really nice.

Murky brown, with almsot no head. Aroma like they forgot this was still in some barrel... It does have concentrated fruit and an earthy malt base, but with dead hops, jodium and plastic. Past its prime for some time, IMHO. Disappointing. (At Pint Winterbierfestival 2012)
