Dark amber colour. Pours small one half finger head in Duvel glass. Delicious aroma mainly of pine and caramel. Light carbonation, with clear caramel taste and pine aftertaste. Was so delicious that I drank it before it reached 10 degrees.

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy amber beer with huge head. Nose is intense on grapefruit and coconut. Aroma is on caramel, coconut , apricot, very sweet, yeast notes, syrupy, resin, floral, creamy good but not exceptional.

Dec 2012 - bottle at around 10 degrees as recommended. Severely explosive upon opening - filled my mouth and two pint glasses with foam before I could control it . I ended up losing at least 75ml. The taste is a bit peachy, a little bit of that astringent bitterness associated with American IPAs but overall quite mild and malty. Really mild for a beer that is 9.2%. This is the third De Molen beer I’ve had, and my least favourite so far. Is still quite nice though.

From bottle. Bottled date 1/30/12. Pours amber with almost no head. Smell. Definitely can smell the Amarillo coming through but not that intense, pry b/c of the aging. Cara malt is really coming through in both taste and smell. Medium thick mouthfeel with only slight burn and hop bitterness. Pretty smooth and concentrated taste. Overall nice Double IPA, and I'm happy to see this Dutch brewery showcasing this American Hop better than some US brewers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Habanero (3159) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2013
Bottled. Pours slightly hazy, amber with a small off-white to beige head, that leaves a fair lacing. Aroma of citrus, orange, caramel and spicy notes. Sweet flavor with a pleasant bitter finish along with some alcohol notes. Medium to full bodied, oily texture and soft to flat CO2. An excellent 2xIPA. ★★★★

Color ambar, turbia con buena espuma que se mantiene. Aromas herbales, a tierra húmeda y pino. Buen cuerpo, oleosa. En boca herbal, amarga aunque no muy fuerte para ser una doble IPA, balanceada por la presencia de la malta. El alcohol muy bien integrado, casi no hay presencia de sus 9 grados. Regusto amargo.

Bottle. Copper color with a small off white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is tangerine, caramel, flowery, light peach. Taste is medium sweet and bitter. Medium+ body, oily/sticky texture, soft carbonation. Medium sweet and light bitter dry finish with light warming alcohol. Nice mouthfeel and interesting hop profile.
