4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle opens with a loud pop. This is an exquisitely beautiful beer - Iíd say itís in my top ten lookers. Itís very effervescent, with a constant stream of bubbles rushing up to join the white, soapy head. A swirl effortlessly raises the head, which remains for ages until it subsides into a complex lacing. Aroma is grape fruit, grassy hops, mango and passion fruit. Taste is crisp, zesty oranges and lemons, mango and clean hops. It has a lovely mouth feel with just the right amount of body to feel creamy, but still light enough for a summerís afternoon. The carbonation fizzes around the tongue and leads on to a good burp. Overall this is a superb offering from an impressive brewery. Cheers!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Shared this bottle during a beer drinking session together with my beer buddy PapaEugene. I had several beers from Dutch brewery de Molen, and until now, really liked most of them. Bottle from Berts Bierhuis beershop in Utrecht. Poured into an Urthel glass. The beers pours an hazy dark yellow (amber-like) color with a high, creamy long-lasting white head.
The scent is fresh, full of sweet fruits (Peach, apricot), sweet caramel hops and a bit floral (like a typical tripel).
The taste is full of spicy hops with balanced acidity, in general much less sweet and fruity compared to the scent, with a nice bitterness in the end. The alcohol taste is medium-well hidden.
The mouthfeel is good. A bit watery maybe, with medium-high carbonation.
Overall, another good beer from the Molen. Not their best one though, but I would definitely not mind drinking it again.

Draught at Brasserie 4:20, Roma. Murky amber with a dense creamy beige head. Beautiful floral hop nose. Flavour is caramel, tropical fruits - orange, tangerine, stonefruits. Ridicously smooth. Underlying bitterness in the finish. Superb stuff.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Draught@In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Firkin Cask Conditioned. Redish brown and very cloudy and thick. Bubbly, soapy small head, which almost completely dissapears. Fruity, citric aroma. Strong taste of lime, lemon, quite bitter. Oily and full mouthfeeling. Bittersweet, alcoholic aftertaste which lasted very long. It took me long to finish this beer, but really enjoyed it.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Draught @ In de Wildeman, Amsterdam. Firkin Cask Conditioned. What a great beer. Hazy, muddy light brown with a small, soapy head which slowly disappeared. Strong, impressive aroma with hints of grapefruit, some sweet fruits and some typical De Molen hints. The taste was really great. Like above with a very hoppy, bitter kick. Long bitter aftertaste which seems to last forever. A big thank you to De Molen to taste this great brew Cask Conditioned. Will try a bottle later.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: Poured an almost opaque deep orangy brown tinted color with small sediments. Huge and flaky off-white head sits and bubbles on the top and leaves a messy lace around the tulip-glass.
Aroma: Moderate herbal and floral hoppy notes with a fresh citrusy bite and moldy-cheese-like yeast notes.
Flavor: Intense dry asparagus and lime-filled hop resins peaked in the foreground. A slight candi-saturated caramel malty backgound overwhelmed by dry saaz and a tangerine and citrusy-like hop resins. Intense, peppery finish.
Mouthfeel/Palate: Relatively soft and easy mouthfeel with a dry, citrusy flavor profile.
Overall: Really impressive european IPA with a bold herbal and citrusy hoppy complexity. Saaz hops are a bit confusing here in my opinon, but i cantít complain. Fantastic brew!

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
75cc Bottle@home. Pours a hazy copper/orange with a huge creamy head. Intense hop aroma with notes of citrus, earth, grapefruit, some toffee, fresh cut grass. Mouthfeel is very fresh and peppery. Fizzy carbonation. I probably have a very fresh bottle. A solid malty backbone which stands up to the dry bitter finish. This was a very fresh one, but I have tasted this from tap and older bottles as well. This stuff is even better when it has aged a little bit. A definite glorious beer from De Molen.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured murky amber, with a tan lacing head. Honey, flowers, light citrus, caramel in the aroma. Dense oily body contributes to a full mouth feel. It is very soft on the palate, a real treat. Easy to drink, with the alcohol well blended. I would call it the dessert of IPAs.
