garza (567) - Oslo (NO), Caracas (VE), VENEZUELA - OCT 9, 2010
UPDATED: APR 29, 2011 Pours hazy golden/dark orange with an espectacular and profuse head. Amazing and powerful aroma of flowers and sweet fruits, some dough. The aroma is detectable even away from the glass. Berries, some citrus, medium sweetness, light bitterness and lightly sour in the taste. Light sweet after taste that hangs there for a while, some bitterness, oily feel, soft carbonation. Overall very good with emphasis in the aroma. <<<< Bottle. Also tried on tap at Schouskjelleren >>> Cloudy orange, average white head. Floral aroma, subtle hint of peaches. Medium to high bitterness, light sweetness. Medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation, long bitter after taste. Good one. Much better on bottle.

A little sweet for me to give it a better grade, this beer had a great flavour with a medium body. I liked it better than De Molen’s Rasputin.

Pours in a semi hazy red amber color, with an off-white head.

Aroma is fresh and fruity. I get citrus, gooseberries, raspberries, honey and suttle licorice.

Taste is sweet and fruity with some floral tendencies. Quite complex fruitiness with gooseberries, strawberries, pineapple, papaya, clementine and blood grapefruit, but also flavours of hibiscus, fresh hops and resin. Long hoppy finish.

Don´t expect an Amarillo single hop beer as the name suggests. I didn´t sense much of those typical Amarillo flavours at all. It´s going more in the direction of tropical fruits. Overall a good beer.

Pours hazy brown/orange with a big head. Some hops, yeast, fruit and grass in both the Aroma and in the taste. Sour/bitter end and with a very nice body. Pretty big IPA !

Bottle at Håndverkerstuene, Oslo. Pours hazy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity with some faint malts as well. Taste is bitter hoppy, with some strong resiny hops as well. Minimal sweetness. A bit over the top for a simple guy as me.

I had it on tap outside brasserie 4:20 probably on of the best experience i’ve ever had. Intense aroma of hops, citrus and fruits. Complex taste, bitter bbut ok balanced. A long end.
