33cl Bottle from Bierkoning. Nose is an absolute crush of bright and fruity hops, with a nice dankness. Like sticking your nose in the boil kettle after dumping a bunch in. Flavor is Mango and grapefruit hops, slightly oily/resiny, but really well done. There’s a definite anise/black licorice character towards the end that counteracts the slight sweetness perfectly. The ABV is present only as the slightest warm ’edge’ to the hops - which are clearly the star here. As it warms, there’s some yeasty, slight grain notes that work really well. Fantastic beer. I really wish all of De Molen’s stuff made it across the water, I’d buy this one by the case.

Bottle. The aroma is fruity, a strong aroma of hops, light sour. The creamy white head is medium large and stays long, the body is orange. The taste is light bitter and sour, strong taste of hops and light touch of alcohol. The body is very creamy, medium strong and with a normal carbonation.

Bottle. The color was cloudy amber with a fairly large, fluffy white head. A lot of citrus, orange and grass in the aroma as well as soap. Quite bitter and nicely balanced. Sweet with lots of fruity flavor. Nice body, as a whole a good beer without being brilliant.

From tap. Cloudy golden, rich head. Citrus fruity, mild spiced and weed aroma. Distinct peachy Amarillo aroma. Flavour is quite much the same along with tropical fruits.Light hoppy finish and quite dry.

Pours a dark hazy orange color with a thick solid just off-white head. Aroma is very hoppy and complex, with citrus, orange, raisins, honey, licorice and some grass. Also quite intense and slightly overwhelming. Dare I take a nip? Well, I’m glad I did. Wonderfully well balanced taste that is a perfect balance between and extreme hoppy bitterness and some lovely delicate honey like sweetness that makes this very drinkable. Lively carbonation completes this very nice brew.
