4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. Slightly hazy amber colour with huge fluffy off-white head. Aroma is big time Amarillo with some yeast and spices along with it. Flavour is quite much the same along with tropical fruits. Very wellbalanced, and also easy to drink brew, considering the ABV, which doesn’t show too much.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2008 Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Cloudy golden, rich head. Rich lychee aroma. Perfumy and lightly soapy. Dry and surprisingly light bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. It has that Belgian style fruity yeastiness and a long, somewhat resiny hop bitterness.

Dark amber color, hazy; big creamy head. The aroma is light, spicy, a bit cheesy, a bit fruity; mild but very nice. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, good malt flavor, with a Belgian touch, good fruity hoppiness, strong bitterness. Even if 1 year old, it’s very interesting and excellent.
2008-05-16, draught at Ølfestival 2008, Århus, 7-4-8-5-15=39
Cloudy amber color. The first beer that comes to my mind is t’Smisje Double IPA: a Strong Belgian Ale (from the yeast) combined with strong and American hops. Nice aroma, but milder than an american IIPA, with a touch of vanilla and cream. Good body strength, the strong malty flavor is corrected by the Belgian yeast; it has a good hopping, aromatic and resiny. Very good.
