33cl bottle. Smells fruity. Appealing appearance. Pours cloudy amber-coloured with a thick foamy white head which lasts for quite long. Aromas of caramel and honey are quite noticeable. Aromas of citrus hops are also present , but not that overwhelmingly much. The Amarillo tastes quite sweet and its bitter touch is quite soft and a bit warmish. The taste fades a bit too quickly to my likings, which makes this beer a bit bland. It sure is tasty and definetely not bad, but it misses something to make it less bland. Could have had more bitterness.

On draught. Creamy amber, pretty murky. Soft hoppy taste, citrus, sirope. Soft character is pleasing, aroma is mute, a bit too dull to my taste. Should try a bottle...

Hazy orange/chestnut colour, with a huge brownish head, very thick and lasting very long. Smell is fruity, clearly Amarillo hops, with very fruity notes, maybe ananas, and also a bit resin. Taste is bitter, but pleasant, and is also sweet, caramel malts. Alcohol is detectable but very well controlled, perfectly balanced. Great Double IPA.

Bottle. Orange in colour with a long lasting medium sized off-white head, good lacing. The aroma is quite hoppy, some oranges, some caramel. The flavour is thinning out a bit but still has a nice citrus hop bite. Hops in the mouth, medium/light body, medium carbonation. Finishes long, hoppy and dry. Starting to fade a bit but still quite nice.

33cl shared by oldmanriver@BE-USA viewing. Pours near-unctuous with a good potent nose: overclocked tripel esters meet ripe pineapple and peach DIPA aromas. Mouthfeel and taste are more balanced, with a still obviously amped yeast profile throwing off ripe apple, peach notes on top of toffee malts and fine amarillo orange zest and further subdued exotics. Creamy, near-sticky mouthfeel. Likeable enough crossover DIPA for colder months, ideal upon shared impact.
