oh6gdx (5195), Vaasa, Finland Mar 22, 2008 Bottled. Hazy pale nutbrown colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is is bigtime amarillo hops. Flavour is very fruity hoppy along with mild sugary hints. Alcohol shows as a small burn, but doesn’t go into the flavour too radically. Wellbalanced and nice DIPA. Probably the first DIPA I have had from the Netherlands. TBone (4841), Pori, Finland Mar 22, 2008 Bottled 12/2007
Courtesy of bierkoning, thanks Edo! Amber color, small off-white head. Amarillo hoppy nose: pine needles, yeastyness and fruityness. Nicely balanced with piney Amarillo hoppyness and malts, fruity sweetness. Really easy to drink for being 9.2 % and EBU 77 beer ... good one. bierkoning (4636), La Tropica, Netherlands Jan 9, 2008 Tap @ brewery. Orange color. Aroma has grapefruit, mandarin curacao and hopoil. Citric, grapefruity flavor, very hoppy. Powerful, but the alcohol is well hidden. Very long oily hoppy aftertaste.
Bottle @ home. Grapefruit and mandarin curacao in the aroma. Oily hoppy flavor with grapefruit, red berries and mint. Once again a very long oily hoppy aftertaste. Excellent beer!

Amber/copper color, beige firm head, good lace. Sweet, bitter, fruity, very grassy, very smooth and full. Has all it needs, strong but not overwhelming, very good balance and easy drinkable. Another example of what De Molen is capable off.
