Dark yellow. Off white head. Nose is nice. Simcoe? Chinook? Clean American pale ale. Perhaps corn and gingerbread as well but it’s pretty close to an American pale.

Shared with + thanks to AdamJackson & tderoeck! Sampled draft @ ‘t Schooltje. Golden, small white head. Light clean De Molen hop nose, citrus, light herbal. Light floral. Clean herbal, citrus, tad floral De Molan taste, faint lavender. Tad light body. Typical De Molen beer in a good way, this is quite nice.

Bottle from Bacchinalia. Golden brown with a slight haze and massive, massive pillows of white head. Sharp floral and piney hop aroma. Slightly earthy note. The taste is not as bitter as the aroma may suggest. Instead the taste starts bittersweet and gradually moves toward an edgier bitter. Fresh clean finish. The palette is shockingly weak but I’ll forgive that. All in all a wonderful session strength beer from de Molen.

Will it gush? First signs are good but I get overly cocky and it fobs on the floor. Rich fruity pithiness, hazy dark amber with pillowy white head. Gentle carbonation, fruity, rich shortcake, mandarins in a pithy finish. Pushing a 3.8

Hazy orange color with nice amount of foam. Mostly floral hop notes in the aroma. Taste is bitter, smooth, but still sorta light. Very light body. Interesting, but not exactly my style.

Bottle from Stockmann in Tallinn (€ 2,69). Bottled 02/04/14. Pours a near clear amber with a retaining and lacing frothy-soapy off-white head. Nose is floral, resiny, biscuity and citrusy recalling American Pale Ales, with only a bit of malts behind the Amarillo. Taste is less fruity-floral, or rather completely lacking any, instead packed with earthy-grassy-spicy notes coming from Sladek. Body light, carbonation near flat, palate dry. Kind of a confusing brew with a personality crisis - I have previously enjoyed it in company, without pondering and wondering about it, maybe even straight from the bottle, but now... mjah. A somewhat dull crossover beer.

Grosse mousse avec une belle persistance. Goût fort de Amaraillo, impression d’amertume accentuée par le goût du dry hopping. belle réussite !

Bottle from Erzbierschof - bottled 14/02/13 - Hazy golden color with a frothy offwhite head, long lasting and massive lacing - Aroma weird ester, herbal, grassy, malty, spucy, strange aroma - Flavor is fruity, herbal, grassy and malty - light body, medium/light bitterness, flat carbonation, herbal finish - not really pleasant, really strange for de molen

Tap @ Fermentoren. Pours clear yellow-golden amber with a thick slightly off-white head. Aromas of lots of citrus, some grass and some fresh sweet orange. Some caramel malt. Taste is pretty sweet, some caramel, sweet oranges, citrus and grass.

Vestergaard (424) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - SEP 7, 2014
Tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours clear yellow-amber with a big, white head. Aroma is very hoppy and pale ale-like, and has that watery malty bitterness. A little grassy, and has some fresh, exotic fruits. Taste is again pretty watery and with different bitter notes, both hoppy and more plain, classic english style bitterness. Malty grainyness as well. Low body and medium carbonation.
