UPDATED: FEB 19, 2012 Golden brown, fizzy body with strong foam. Impressive aroma with some soureness, plum, raisin, lots of hops. Yet a surpringly easy drink. Alcohol at the background. Interesting drink. (Bought at the brewery.) (Rating re-indexed)

Amber colored beer. Very good fresh hoppy smell. The beer has a nice balance of roasted malts and hopps. It tastes light, very drinkable. Fot so little alcohol very long elegant aftertaste of hopbitters.

Light amber, firm, rather well lasting, off-white foam head consisting of fine small bubles. Fruity aroma. Grapefruit, grape, some dried apricot. Fragrant lime (linde) blossom (lindebloesem). All the best of the amarillo hops. Full taste. Some hop bitterness. Malt sweetness. Again the grapefruit, together with candied orange peel. No sence of lack of alcohol, even though it has a relatively low ABV. Dry lingering aftertaste, astringent, the bitterness of the hops comes through in full strenght after a while. Really refreshing and nice beer. (from 33cL bottle)

Bottle at Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Aroma is lovely: hoppy beyond its strength. Taste is hoppy within its strength, as there is some water in the finish. But the hop quota is great, the freshness is great. Really good. Dry, rising finish actually, which is really good.

Man, this shit hit the spot. Got to try a fresh ass cask while on my trip to Amsterdam at the motherfuckin awesome ass bar Wildeman. Ass golden color, no shit clarity on the cask pour. Its straight up dope ass fresh cut grass and lemony hops surrounded by a clean ass bitter. So freaking cool. This is a fucking perfect mix of an English bitter and American hops. Shit yeah!!!!!!!

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2009 Angry fist of Santa tasting at Chris o’s. Gold, slight haze. Thin off white head. Nice hop aroma. It’s a kick in the head with cat’s pee. From Harry. Really cool hop on the end. That gets better as it goes. 4/5 Re-rate at Churchill Tavern, Ramsgate. One of the best cask conditioned beers I ’ve had. The hops jumped out at you.

Bottled.. Cloudy gold color with a nice off-white head that keeps a lacing until the end. Aroma is floral hoppy and hints of citrus. Flavor is hoppy and quite bitter. Mouthfeel is long with a nice bitterness..

Absolutely loved this one at TBF ’11. Very strong on hops, bitter, grapefruit notes. Only 4,5% abv.. I’d take this over pilsener all day, every day if i could.

I expected it to be more bitter. Citrus, grass, resin and hops, but not a strong and complex taste.
