UPDATED: OCT 6, 2012 On tap, pours an orange tinted brown color with off white small head and dct foam lacing. Aroma of amarillo juicy hops, caramel biscuit, apricot, and some green grapes. Taste is fresh grassy hops, lemon/orange peel, pine, caramel. Had a nice bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable. Updated, drank superfresh in the Netherlands at In de Wildeman. This was my go-to session of the trip. Hazy golden pour, thick medium off white head. Notes of pineapple, tangerine, perfectly balanced hops with some marshmallow malting aftertaste. Piney, Fuely, Smooth mouth. I guess these ipas are amazing before they make the trip

Amber colored beer. Very good fresh hoppy smell. The beer has a nice balance of roasted malts and hopps. It tastes light, very drinkable. Fot so little alcohol very long elegant aftertaste of hopbitters.

Light amber, firm, rather well lasting, off-white foam head consisting of fine small bubles. Fruity aroma. Grapefruit, grape, some dried apricot. Fragrant lime (linde) blossom (lindebloesem). All the best of the amarillo hops. Full taste. Some hop bitterness. Malt sweetness. Again the grapefruit, together with candied orange peel. No sence of lack of alcohol, even though it has a relatively low ABV. Dry lingering aftertaste, astringent, the bitterness of the hops comes through in full strenght after a while. Really refreshing and nice beer. (from 33cL bottle)

330 ml bottle bought at The Bottle Shop in Sai Kung.

Colour: Cloudy hazy amber with lots of dirt-like yeast sediments.

Looks: Two finger head and crumpet off-white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Very good sticky lacing and notable slight carbonation.

Aroma: Refreshing and fragrant grapefruit, pineapple, jackfruit, orange, honey, strong ale malt, caramel and light toffee. Aroma can be smelt a feet away.

Taste: Pleasant mid to light sweet taste of ale malt, with light grapefruit, pineapple, light orange, honey, flowers, toffee, biscuit, yeast, light liquorices, lime, and strong grassy hops.

Body: Medium body, slick and thick palate.

Palate: Light sweet and hoppy full pale malt base. Amarilloís grapefruit is refreshing, plus very strong pineapple and tropical fruit taste unique to this brew. Nice!

Hoppiness: Truly shines with sweetly fruity nose and taste, moderate amount of citrus and hops for good bitterness which is stronger than most Bitters, and moderately sharp astringency for nice finish.

After Taste: Pretty dry, very tasty to mouth.

Comments: Most of the Bitters I had were quite ordinary and boring. With de Molen, you know itís always an exciting experience: this one is spiced up with good amounts of Amarillos for some serious fruity taste, and they are always generous with good dose of hoppiness and nice hoppy finish. Adding good heads and wholesome body. This one is a winner without a doubt. Love it!

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2009 Angry fist of Santa tasting at Chris oís. Gold, slight haze. Thin off white head. Nice hop aroma. Itís a kick in the head with catís pee. From Harry. Really cool hop on the end. That gets better as it goes. 4/5 Re-rate at Churchill Tavern, Ramsgate. One of the best cask conditioned beers I íve had. The hops jumped out at you.

I expected it to be more bitter. Citrus, grass, resin and hops, but not a strong and complex taste.
