skortila (4516) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - FEB 13, 2011
Bottled @ Home. The aroma has caramel, some grass, bit chocolate. Hazy, dark brown coloured beer with a lasting, off-white head. The taste is light sweet, light-moderate bitter, has caramel, some chocolate, bit bread and grassy hops. Medium-full bodied. Not (too) much hops for a Molen beer.

Borresteijn (4686) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - FEB 4, 2011
75cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Deep dark brown colour, big creamy pillowed off white head that lasts, looks very inviting. Aroma of chocolate, alcohol, dark fruits, light roasted malts. Flavour is light sweet, dark fruits, plain and milk chocolate, roasted malts, hint of coffee, alcohol, some flowery notes which are a bit lavender-like, hints of nutmeg and clove, bitter alcohol finish. Fullbodied, soft mouthfeel, just a touch too much alcohol imo, but very tasty.
