Pours a hazy wheat color, explosive head, which settles to a thin ish ring. Smells roasty, with notes of toffee and coffee. Wow. Intense and spiky carbonation on the mouth. Tastes like a coffee quilt overlayIng a hoppy pale ale. The bitterness from the hops make it taste like watery black coffee. It reminds me of that green ketchup they marketed a few yeas ago. A novel experiment, not a great achievement.

Bottle (33cl). Huge offwhite head (gusher). Slightly hazy amber colour. Aroma of raw coffee beans, paper, yeast. Light body. Dry, somewhat peculiar taste of resinous wood, vegetal spices and hop bitterness. Papery/bitter aftertaste.

330ml bottle. Really big frothy beige head which streams over the top of the lass on top of a clear bubbly amber body. Aroma is straight-up bitter spent espresso grounds. Some light caramel malts and bready notes. The dry hopping is evident with some citrus, but the coffee really stands out. Taste is really bitter with a combination of hop bitterness and scathing iced espresso bitterness. Malts are present but really overshadowed by the burnt coffee grounds, which linger in the finish. Mouthfeel is overcarbonated. Light body and generally effervescent. I’m a big coffee beer fan so I think I like this one better than most people. It is way overcarbonated, otherwise I would rate it even higher.

Pours a orange hazy color which foams like a madman! Spilled onto the table and as far.as i know there was nothing was wrong with bottle. Aroma of yeast and hop. Had kind of an IPA taste with a hop taste and a bitter aftertaste.

Pours hazy orange amber with a decent creamy off-white head. Aroma is simply coffee. Med body. Flavor is coffee, light caramel and some floral? hop.The coffee tends to dominate here. Interesting take on a coffee ale but quite drinkable. It’s dry and bitter.

Pours hazy deep amber into a tulip. Huge off-white head with excellent retention tophat and slowly recedes. Smoked grapefruit and coffee aromas. Sharp with caramel and hay upfront turning to coffee and tangerine in the dry, lasting finish.

Pours a hazy golden with a smaller bubbly white head. Aroma of green coffe, vegetal notes, don’t really dig the coffee profile and the dry hops aren’t too apparent. Flavor of the same. The coffe and hops taste a little better in the flavor. Over carbonated.

4 may 2012, bottle. Light orange and a bit hazy. Nose is coffe, maybe a faint green or jalapeño pepper, and a faint lemon citrus. Med body and barely any carbonation. Meh. Very faint lemon citrus and mediocre ale with some strong coffee flavors. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
