Pours dark amber with a large head. Nose shows heavy bergamot, sweet clean malt, pine and resinous hops. Awesome. Flavours inlcude more heavy bergamot, perhaps a bit heavy-handed. Some light clean malt and more resinous hops. A bit of an astringent, herbal finish.

Bottle at home, 15th October 16. Pours a dark Amber beer, nice fluffy head that is perfect, with good lacing. I was a little concerned as bottling date was March 2016, but this is not a typical IPA, so no problem. Aroma is floral, perfume, bergamot. Taste is beautifully floral, bergamot forward, some bitter, grapefruit and pine, lingering perfume with bitterness. Very enjoyable unusual IPA.

Hatalmas, nagyon tartós, piszkosfehér hab, sötét borostyán szín. Citrusos, enyhén gyantás, markánsan Earl Gray teás illat. Citrusos, icipicit édes déligyümölcsös, erőteljes bergamottos-Earl Gray teás ízvilág. Közepesen testes és keserű, közepesen szénsavas. A bergamott kiválóan simul bele az IPA-s aromákba. Nagyon finom, a testessége ellenére is frissítő sör.

7,1% Van ’t vat. Wazig amberkleurig bier met weinig wit schuim. Geur: hop, grassig, wat harsachtig en licht zoet. Smaak: bitter, pijnboom en moutzoetigheid die voor een goede balans zorgt. Redelijk volmondig. Matige koolzuurprikkel.

High ABV for a straight IPA and it’s pretty full bodied. Not thick but the texture tends to ’creamy’. Lots of balance with modern piney hops and some sweetness around the edges. Very reasonable despite the strength. Really liked this.

330ml bottle. (7.1% ABV) Pours a hazy orange with a huge, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Sweet, floral aroma of caramel malt, orange, peach and tropical fruit. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, orange, peach, mango, tea and grass in a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Interesting and enjoyable.

Aroma- Tea leaves, orange, bergamot Appearance- Bright orange with a slight haze and some sediment. Persistent, paper thin white head. Taste- Black tea, bergamot, orange, black licorice, earthy hops, dry bitterness. Palate- Medium bodied, slight astringency though far from off putting. Average carbonation. Overall- Great Tea flavoured beer. The bitterness seems to come more from an oversteeped tea than hops. Bergamot tea is front and centre. Hoppy bitterness is an aftertaste.
