3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Bierkompass, bought in Jan 2015.
Dark reddish/brown with a medium tan head. Aroma and taste of smoke, roasted malt, citrus, some grain and light earth. Not that heavy. A descent one although not a "typical" Saison.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAR 13, 2015 330ml bottle (Koht Spring Auction, Tallinn) - thanks martjoobolut
Yeasty and alcoholic aroma, definitely belgian yeast. Nice deep red, tight tan head. Simple dark malts, bit of alcohol, belgian yeasts. Cloudy glass was better, less alcohol, more bready, fuller palate. Finish has some bitterness, a little bit of sweet bready malts. Too much alcohol, that’s for sure.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home. Black pour, huge tan head. Aroma is quite full of licorice, spicy, some alcohol, roasted malts, cough candy and some yeast. Flavor is quite bitter, spicy and with a huge amount of carbonation. Slightly out of balance, but interesting and unique.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Backlog rating. 33cl bottle shared at Caspar tasting at Chriso’s, London. Dark beer, roasty and grainy, has more stout quality than saison. Overall, not bad nonetheless
