Thanks Huhzubendah! Pours a super dark brown color, with a thin cocoa head. Impossible to see through. The nose is liquor, dark fruit and alcohol, toffee. The taste is amazing. Cognac, dark fruit, alcohol in the taste. Really complex, and unbelievable this beer is 13%. It goes down so smoothly and easily. Dangerously good. UPDATED: OCT 25, 2011 On tap at Schouskjelleren. Creamy, fingerthick, brown head leaving excellent lacing over a black body. Sweet liquorice, cacao, vanilla, hints of booze, chocolate and raisins on the nose. Sweet, light bitter, light acidic flavors with plenty of roasted notes, espresso coffee, vanilla and a touch of ash as it heats. Full bodied and smooth with alco warmth, but not so much much as the alcohol content might suggest.

On tap@Schouskjelleren. Pours black with a beige head.Aroma of chocolate, nuts, mocca, coffee, alcohol, yeast, burnt and roasted notes. Flavor is sweet and roasted with lots of coffee, chocolate, warming alcohol, caramel and yeast. Full body, average carbonatio. So nice.

Bottle at 2nd BBF @ De Molen. Amazing brew, took off the sharp edges of the normal black damnation while retaining the amazing flavor. Great brew. Amazing.

18 cl nip bottle I picked up in Belgium. Super black with a nice creamy, tan head. Nose is woody with cocoa-beans, coffee, peated whiskey and vanilla. Taste is big and powerful with roasted flavors, chocolate and a malty sweetness. Lingering coffee notes and a balanced finish. Oily mouthfeel. Beautiful stuff.

Botle 18 cl, Skjold Burne, Århus. Pours black with a small bubbly brown head leaving some lacing. Aroma is fullbodied intense malty, fruity, roasted, dark fruits, vanilla and alcohol. Flavor follows the aroma with some acidyness, nice balance, not too thick, good sipping beer. Finish is excellent; sweet with vanilla tones turning into bitter tart longlived aftertaste.

Cognacsfatlagrad IS. Hälften Struisess Black Albert och hälften Mennos H&V. Lite rostat kaffe, bär och en lagom dos len choklad. Riktigt fin fruktighet som gör att jag börjar tänka i banor av smaksatt choklad. Men det finns även mörkt socker samt den där skvätten rostat kaffe man aldrig undkommer. Väldigt kraftig, men elegant och gentlemannamässig. Fantastisk.

Black with a creamy dark brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, vanilla and lots of alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Smooth and oily. I normally prefer Impys a little lower in ABV, but this is brilliant. 040911

Black with a lasting tan head. Dark aroma of dried fruit, licorice and roasted malt. Intense roasted flavour with coffee, some licorice, warming alcohol, and drying wooden notes.

At Borefts Bier Festival 2010. Black colored brew. Chocolate, espresso, coffee in the aroma. Flavor has coffee, chocolate, espresso, bourbon, vanilla. Smooth. Great.
