Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, straw, alcohol, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of sweet and roasted malt, soy sauce, alcohol, and wood, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle 18 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours black with a vague tint of red and a beige head. Very sophisticated and refined aroma - hard to pinpoint. Neither the Bourbon nor the Bordeaux barrel seems to dominte, instead they blend together to a very interesting melange. Medium body, some hard roast, but never burned or overwhelming. Sweet vanilla with a warming alcohol finish. Very interesting and sophisticated. 280710

Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice, wood, coffee, some bourbon as well as mild alcohol. Flavour is being quite much the same in a quite a nice balance. Also some mild vanillaish notes to it. Opaque very dark brown beer, little tan head. Slightly sour coca cola nose. Soft semi dry palate. Pleasantly sour dark malt that isn’t bitter or dry. Coca cola sourishness contrasted with lacto sweetness.Finishes semi dry with a whisper of nuts. Nice!
