Pours pure black with small brown head. Super chocolatey with hints of wood vanilla and caramel in the aroma. Tastes just as it smells very smooth and chocolatey with a mellow wood vanilla/caramel tone.

Gem from noize!!! Dark brown color with a small tan head. Amazing aroma. Bourbon, red wine, molasses, light espresso and chocolate. Flavor is a wonderful mix of wine and booze flavors with ash, tobacco, coffee, and some dark dried fruit. Amazing.

Bought at BBF

Head: thick, foamy, capuccino,
Colour: very dark brown, almost black
Smell: lots of chocolat, raisins dried figs, dried plums, vanilla , oak, light roasted coffee, sweet roasted malts, boozey in a very good way , deffinitly something of the bourbon , superb !! let’s hope taste is as good !!
Taste: start is very boozey with a coffee and black/milk chocolat base , lots of roasted mlats, some vanilla of the oak, i can spot something sour and wineous( red fruits ) from the bordeaux, again very roasty coffee with roasted malts and sticky sweet end , mouthfeel becomes really dry afterwards , slight alcohol burn in the troath and in the aftertatse you can spot some grassy hops !

Menno .... I FREAKIN LOVE THIS ONE !!

Miniature pony bottle (1655/2040) shared by daknole -- thanks, man!! Live rate. Pours murky brown with amber legs and no discernible head. Smells incredible -- red wine, oak, vanilla, and chocolate cake. Tastes of further notes of chocolate cake and barrel complimented by green chilies and raspberries. This is pretty special. Well done.

Bottle from Ølbutikken. Black body, beige head. Complex vinous and roasted malts aroma. Chocolate nose and alcohol as well. Plums and chocolate flavours, light roast in the background, marcipan and vanilla. Surprisingly well carbonated for its kind. A fluid confectionary.

Low carbonation, lovely elegant oily and lovely mouthfeel. Flavour is very elegant and balanced. Lots of dark chocolate, vanilla, oak, dryness, light viniousness, mildly roasted, a hint of plums. Tannins. Long, lingering oaky dryness with a hint of fruity hops. Lots of dark chocolate in oak. Wonderful!

Bottle. High creamhy and long lasting light brown head. As expected the body is dark as the arctic night. Spicy aroma, coriander I guess, with a somewhat sour berries note hops and alcohol. Hard to describe complex flavor of coffee choccolate hops alcohol ssweet beeries and a spicyness and something I guess is whisky. Oh I like it. Low carbonation. Long aftertasted.
