Extraordinaria nariz ahumada, recuerdos de cecina y leña quemada, en boca tiene un gran cuerpo y mucho sabor, de nuevo aparece el humo que es el gran protagonista!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle originally purchased from Beers of Europe, dark brown, almost black. Massive brown head with loads of carbonation. This bottle’s lively! Smoked meat, bit of chocolate and root beer along with some forest floor earthiness. A surprisingly sweet initial taste leads to a satisfying savoury bitterness. Chocolatey bittersweet finish. Full palette improved further by the carbonation. A great brewery pulls off another brilliant beer.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours murky amber unclear dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma brings phenalic smoked malts, band-aid and a bit sweet. Flavor brings sweet smoked malts, something off here not loving the smoke and there is no roastiness.

Duft av røykt sild. Dyp mørk brun farge, nesten sort. Dekkende brunt skum. God smak av frukter, noe røyk, kaffe og vanilje. Nydelig.

355ml bottle. Very dark brown in colour with a large and lingering tan head, excellent lacing. The aroma is quite smoky, lots of peat, roasted malts, dark chocolate and wood. The flavour is quite roasty, some light liquorice, smoke, sweetness, chocolate, light alcohol, cold coffee. Creamy roasted mouthfeel, medium body, mild carbonation. Finishes long, creamy, smoky and sweet. This is very nice. Aged awesome. A smoked porter to rival Stone’s.

330ml bottle (BierKompass.de)
Lovely smoked bock aroma, sweetish, sausagey. Very deep red, frothy beige head. Dark roast, sweet, and again more of a bocky feel than a stout. Deep burntness, but not astringent. Smooth palate. Very pleasant smoked bock?
