Maltsmaken er tydelig tilstede og et tydelig røykpreg. God sødme med lite bitterhet. Ravnsvart farge med masse skum.

Deep brown/black pour with a thin off white head ... aroma of smoked peated malt all the way .... taste is of roasted malts and heavily smoked peated malts with a bitter bite and light chocolate malts ..... very smoked with a huge lingering smoke flavor ..... mouthfeel is thin ... finish is dry and smokey

Pours black into a tulip. Off-white soapy head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Wow - smoked peat is right. Thin with caramel and smoked peat upfront turning to bandaid in the lasting finish. This one is all over the place on ratings - aroma is incredible..but it doesn’t look great... it’s thin, but it tastes great...

Bottle. Chocolate milk and peat smoke aroma. Dark brown with minimal head. Sweet chocolate and funky peat smoke malt flavor. Unique.

Pours very dark brown. Looks cloudy but it’s hard to tell. Head is smallish and beige. Fades pretty quickly. Little to no lacing. The aroma has a lot more smoke than expected. Otherwise, there’s a rich caramel/molasses malt sweetness with some chocolate and oak. A touch of grapes and plums. Smoke is the star, though. Little roast. Lots more smoke in the taste. Pretty similar to the aroma in other respects, as well. Moderately sweet. It’s a bit meaty with some dark malt fruitiness. Mild bitterness in the finish. Some tannic oakiness dries things out. Mouthfeel isn’t quite as full as I’d like for the flavors. It’s not thin; it just could use a creamier feel as a backdrop for the flavors. Carbonation is relatively low. Decent beer. Nothing really stands out as particularly good, though. The smoke flavor is nice but kinda takes over. The other flavors are too far in the background.

Bottle courtesy of Mashmaster. Sweet peaty malt, rotted compost, and some light smoke aroma. Deep mahogany with a moderate tan head. Sweet dark fruit, roasty malt, smoky peat flavor with a light roasty bitter finish. Body on the lighter side of full, soft carbonation.

33 cl bottle @ home. Pours dark brown with a little sediment and a huge off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, bitter coffee, and subtle smoke. Flavour is roasted malt, bitter coffee, chocolate, and subtle smoke – with a bitter finish.

Pours Choco brown with a decent head. Aroma of chocolate, leather, smoke, and something almost fruity I can't quite place. Chocolatey, peaty, quite good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a deep, barely translucent cola brown with a thin tan head that doesn’t hang around too long. Robust aroma has nutty, smoky, caramel, coffee and roast malt notes, almost more like a stout or porter. Flavor has a decided overtone of smoky barbecue with roast malt, burnt coffee, nutty and subtle hoppy notes as well. Texture is firm and smooth, though fizz leaves a bit to be desired. No need for blood, sweat or tears - just drink it.
