3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Første traneøl ever. Dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Lots of smoke in the nose, mostly peated. Flavour is more meaty smoke with some rusty iron, mushrooms, earth, forest floor, wet wood, berries, light brown sugar. The texture is soft and it drinks easy. Medium sweet and little bitterness. Ok, but a bit meh.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle originally purchased from Beers of Europe, dark brown, almost black. Massive brown head with loads of carbonation. This bottle’s lively! Smoked meat, bit of chocolate and root beer along with some forest floor earthiness. A surprisingly sweet initial taste leads to a satisfying savoury bitterness. Chocolatey bittersweet finish. Full palette improved further by the carbonation. A great brewery pulls off another brilliant beer.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours murky amber unclear dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma brings phenalic smoked malts, band-aid and a bit sweet. Flavor brings sweet smoked malts, something off here not loving the smoke and there is no roastiness.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark brown with minimal tan head and floating crumbs. Aroma is really smokey, roasted malts, some chocolate, bacon. Sweet smokey taste. Maybe too much smokey for me.
