For some reason I don’t smell and taste the hop I suppose I should taste. Hazy dark golden color, something weird in the smell that also comes through in the taste is just not nice.

On tap at ’t Arendsnest, Amsterdam on 31 March 2011. Slightly murky orange colour. Strong, aromatic hop character in the aroma. Some sappy elements. Bags of hops evident on the palate. Grapefruit and Seville orange prominent. Reasonably light, but brisk mouthfeel. Bitterness develops on the finish and ligers into the aftertaste. Distinct APA leanings here. Very tasty stuff and extremely drinkable.
