This one’s a gusher and it took a while to settle. Thick huge white, hazy, frothy on an copper orange body. Stayed overly frothy to the end. Smells of toasted malt, caramel and light spices like cinnamon and ginger. Medium oily body with high carbonation. Tastes malty and sweet, caramel with light spices on the dry finish. Nice enough bock but it erupted and stayed rather fizzy.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy dark caramel with a large head. Aroma is watery caramel and apple. Taste is a little burnt, more caramel and apple. Far too fizzy.

Another day, another style. I think this is the beer I’d use to teach Bish how to burp. Big swig, fight the bubbles, retain and then...BURP. See, easy. Go on try, NOW. Feeble. I’m getting a scintilla of vegetable, a souciant of cloves, a flotilla of bubbles and a yearning for hops. Worrying. Saves you checking.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; cloudy mahogany pour with massive beige head, yeasty and spicy aroma, taste has cloves, spice quite drying, malty and fruity.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus. Huge off-white to lightly beige head on top of a hazy dark orange to red colored beer. Not much aroma coming through this huge lightly beige head topping this beer. Am I repeating myself? Crap. Must have had some beers prior to this one. I only write this bullshit because it takes this beer so damn long to settle. Finally...lets continue. Aroma has malts and sweetness, still don’t detect much more. Taste malts, lightly sweet, some bitterness, grass, hay. Firm carbonation, medium body.

Bottle thx to benzai. Hazy orange to red colour with a huge, huge off-white head. Pour carefully! Smells malts, herbs, some chocolate, sweetish, slightly hayish. Tastes sweet, malts, hayish, very subtle liquorice. Lots and lots of carbo (too much for me), medium body.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2013 ¡Cuidado!
