Thereís plenty of fruit like orange, tangerine and sweet apples. Itís powerful and full bodied but still easy going. Although the name would suggest otherwise, itís our favourite amongst the female clientele yet also highly appreciated by the other sex. Well hopped as always, but the obvious alcohol and the massive malt and fruit character restrict the hops to the background, only to reveal itself in the finish. Full bodied, notes of champagne. Champagne mousse after pouring in the glass. Grapes and a hint of mandarin curacao in the aroma, together with a hint of vin mousseux. Malty sweet flavor, immensely full bodied, with mandarine curacao and vinous notes. Thick mouthfeel, just a touch of yeast in the aftertaste. Huge beer.

Pours a two-finger off-white head that fades very slowly leaving a good lace. Cloudy amber color, some yeast left in bottle. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Sweet almost syrupy nose and flavor is sweet toffee, not cloying, high ABV is hidden. Pricey at $11.99 for a 330ml bottle from Julioís Liquors Westborough, Ma. Brewed Jul 2012.

Golden color with no head almost. The atone Is sweet and fruity. Some plums maybe, but definitely sweetness. Quite gluey on the lips. The taste is surprisingly soft and almost doesn't show the high amount of alcohol! Quite soft palate, no carbonization! The aftertaste is sweet, no bitterness whatsoever. Not my kind of beer but still a good one!

DAAIS; My 600 rating moment with de Molen from a Polish bottle shop. Pours hazy amber whith a white, shorth lived alchol head. Aroma is heavy malt, caramel, loads of alchol and orange fruity. Taste is heavy sweet, as is the lasting heavy, warming to boozy finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily to creamy, carbonation is soft to flat.

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2014 Tap. Pours amber light hazy, little off-white head. Aroma is a lot of raisins, port wine, plums and dates, sweet! Some licorice. Really sweet, but then balanced by bitterness and alcohol. Warming ftw BW. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a lovely, clear, dark amber body with an orange shade. The head is light tan, very long-lived and ends up as a fully covering film, some build-ups at the walls and a good amount of lacing. Strong, sweet, sugary and heavy malty aroma of grain and caramel. Sweet overripe generic fruits, dark dried fruits, plum in madeira and pickled pear. The strong flavour is even more complex, again itís very sweet malty, with strong notes of grain, cereal, caramel and vague nutty traces. Also overripe fruits, dark dried fruits, overripe citrus, herbs, sugar, honey, vanilla and ridiculously well integrated alcohol. The taste is heavy sweet with a tad too moderate bitterness. Magnificent mouthfeel with a full body, slick and oily texture and soft carbonation. A lovely barleywine, but a bit too much grainy malty sweetness and it could have been far hoppier, both when it comes to bitterness and aroma/flavour.
