COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There’s plenty of fruit like orange, tangerine and sweet apples. It’s powerful and full bodied but still easy going. Although the name would suggest otherwise, it’s our favourite amongst the female clientele yet also highly appreciated by the other sex. Well hopped as always, but the obvious alcohol and the massive malt and fruit character restrict the hops to the background, only to reveal itself in the finish. Full bodied, notes of champagne. Champagne mousse after pouring in the glass. Grapes and a hint of mandarin curacao in the aroma, together with a hint of vin mousseux. Malty sweet flavor, immensely full bodied, with mandarine curacao and vinous notes. Thick mouthfeel, just a touch of yeast in the aftertaste. Huge beer.

Uklar og grumset orange farve, intet skum. Dufter af sprit, gær og bær. Smager alt for sød og er tyk flydende og helt flad og sprittet. Tak Jørgen, men det er en ommer......

75cl bottle bought at VinensVerden, Odense. Opened new years eve. Pours hazy orange with no head or lacings. Nose is sweet of fruit, hops, caramel and yeast. Medium bodied. Oily and sticky. Taste is mega sweet and vinous. Caramel, sugar and alcohol mainly. Way too unbalanced . . . .

Bottled. Hazy deep red-amber color, very small head. Berries, malts, alcohol, sorbus in the nose. Very heavy brew, sticky, grassy hoppy, sugary, alcoholic and sorbus flavored. Some soap in the aftertaste. Kicks ass with its 15 %. Menno, this is a bit too much .... tooooo heavy.

(Bottle #22 at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2008-11-29) Amber and hazy. Apple and rasin in nose. No head. Full bodied and little bit sticky palate with warmth from alchol and hint of carbonation. Apple, some raisin, lots of sweetness and some bitterness in taste. Sweet and lightly bitter aftertaste. Would improve with age I suppose.

(Bottled, 0.75l) Muddy orange with no head. Huge aroma of fruit, Belgian-style yeast, and grainy malt. Strongly warming, grainy and very sweet, intensely fruity flavor. Very full, syrupy body with no carbonation. Only had a small sample, but seems to have a very good ageing potential. I shall save my bottle for as long as I can :)

Bottle @ LCRBM 2008. Aroma has caramel and sugar sweetness with fruitiness. Hazy, orange coloured with an off-white head. Taste is quite sweet, has caramel, sugar, oranges, aprikot. Bit too young. To be rerated.

Bottle @ LCRBM 08: Poured a orange with off white head. The aroma is strong sweet fruit and malts. The taste continues sweet with fruits mostly citrus and sugar. For the high alcohol percentage you can’t feel it.
