3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Hazy, almost muddy light brown with orange hue. Small head that's mostly just some big bubbles. Rye bread, big yeast, sweet sticky buns or 'sugar bread'. Light vanilla and some very ripe stone fruits. Vegetal bitter dry finish. Very thick sticky feel on a massive body that masks the alcohol quite well. Pretty good but the finish doesn't really work for me.

Really awesome stuff. Amber to red color with almost no foam. Very fruity aroma with notes of red and black currant and cherry brandy. Very long and rich in taste with a bitter finish on the back of the tongue. The alcohol is noticable but not disturbing.

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
One word... Massive. Hazy dark reddish beer with absent head and minimal lacing. Aromas are strong and deep with a far reach. Whilst pouring it in my glass, it kind of exploded all over the place. Nice, deep fruity aroma of figs, grapes and plums. Some caramel malts as well. Some vanilla far away... Appealing smell and pretty overwhelming. Wow. The taste is massive in all its senses, Sweet (maybe a bit too sweet), fruity, spicy and with a nice warmishness of the present alcohol. But yet it feels suprisingly soft. The sweetness fades over time, but never fades away completely. Minimal bitter touch in the aftertaste. Just, wow. Full body, nice creamy texture and low carbonation. Bit of a sticky, sirupy mouthfeel as well, but it isn’t disturbing. Overall, I loved this brew. It might be a bit too sweet, and it could have had a bit hoppier, but in the long run it was just enjoyment... Massive enjoyment.

This beer is beautiful! Strong malty flavor mixed with green grapes. This beer is thick and chewy and the flavors stick to the back of your tongue. It hits tops scores in every aspect except for aroma, as it hardly has one at all.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Whoa! this is a Wiley monster. Poured with a traditional tiny fine off-white head, a little lace and a hazy/cloudy dark honey amber color. Aroma is wet grain, malt, figs, a bit of citrus, a hint of yeast. flavor is like aroma but the first thing that jumps out is the sweet tartness. The citrus is an interesting twist for Barley Wine. It pretty much Hides most of the Malt. The body is perfect. Alcohol is well hidden. This is a good ass Beer, By cracky.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aromas of dried fruit and light citrus. The taste was not as heavy as I thought it would be. With good fruity flavor and tiny hints of orange. Not well hopped, but only moderately. Heavy bitterness that fills the mouth a weak moment. Does it loses flavor quite quickly but to be so strong, I think it was approved. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Heavy to harsh cookie and caramel for the malt, moderate to heavy cooked orange for the hops, moderate dough and leather for the yeast, with dried fig, dates and cherry, and brown sugar. There was no head, and color is muddy dark brown. Flavor starts heavily to harshly sweet, then finishes heavily sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is medium to full, syrupy, with no carbonation and has a moderately alcoholic finish. A little cloying, and I missed the carbonation from letting this Barley Wine age, but this is a massively tasty beer.
