COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There’s plenty of fruit like orange, tangerine and sweet apples. It’s powerful and full bodied but still easy going. Although the name would suggest otherwise, it’s our favourite amongst the female clientele yet also highly appreciated by the other sex. Well hopped as always, but the obvious alcohol and the massive malt and fruit character restrict the hops to the background, only to reveal itself in the finish. Full bodied, notes of champagne. Champagne mousse after pouring in the glass. Grapes and a hint of mandarin curacao in the aroma, together with a hint of vin mousseux. Malty sweet flavor, immensely full bodied, with mandarine curacao and vinous notes. Thick mouthfeel, just a touch of yeast in the aftertaste. Huge beer.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, consumed at home. Orange/sienna, very hazy. No head and almost minimal carbonation. Aroma of orange peel, yeast, barley sugar, toffee, cardamom. Sweet fruity taste - Pink Lady apples and pomegranates - slowly fading to a long bitter herbal finish. Full and chewy palette. This is an amazingly complex and rewarding experience.

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2014 Very aromatic beer, a bit too much for my sense. Aroma is deep. A combination between sweet caramel, mix of spices and fruits. Taste is also like a sweet caramel and mixed spice. I really liked the sensation of the beer, very sticky.. Overall, I like this beer, but I prefer more bitterness.

pours unclear if not hazy golden orange, red tint, with a very small off-white cap showing a minimal retention and lacing. chewy caramel and barley sugar, doughy and fat fruity maltiness - unfortunately a tad garbagy, some grapes, peaches, candied oranges, touch of lemon and grapes’ skin, tobacco, hint of chocolate, sweetness - barley sugar, touch of acidity - tart red and yellow fruits. low carbonation, medium to full body - oily and sticky, sweet and bold grassy-spicy finish. caramel. pine. candied oranges. booze. interesting sipper.

Ok, wow. Quite firghtful in the beginning, pours and orange oil-like syrup in your glass that forms almost nil foam. Aroma hits your in the nose with fuckin hazelnuts, orange jam, caramel, maple syrup. Taste follows a similar sweet pattern, nutty and a bit herbal. Bitter alcoholic aftertaste that tells you ONE MORE SIP BITCH. Full-bodied, fuckin velvet smoothness. I got pretty high on this. Absolutely impressive.

A fine take on Barley Wine. A sweet malty beer, full body mouthfeel. You almost want to try and chew it. It is also very sparkling, which is a nice departure from many other barley wines. Oh, and how lovely strong it is. Really tickles your nose.

Bottle. Deep old gold colour with almost no head. Minimal carbonation. Aroma of caramel , mature fruits and alcohol fumes. Sweet taste with a hint of pear drops become more bitter in the finish. Alcohol is present but in a nice way Long lingering after warmth. A decent example of its style
