There’s plenty of fruit like orange, tangerine and sweet apples. It’s powerful and full bodied but still easy going. Although the name would suggest otherwise, it’s our favourite amongst the female clientele yet also highly appreciated by the other sex. Well hopped as always, but the obvious alcohol and the massive malt and fruit character restrict the hops to the background, only to reveal itself in the finish. Full bodied, notes of champagne. Champagne mousse after pouring in the glass. Grapes and a hint of mandarin curacao in the aroma, together with a hint of vin mousseux. Malty sweet flavor, immensely full bodied, with mandarine curacao and vinous notes. Thick mouthfeel, just a touch of yeast in the aftertaste. Huge beer.

330ml bottle - thanks martjoobolut
Cherry slice - cakey, almondy. Massively full malty taste. Delicious and chewy. Lovely and bocky, doppelbocky, Hops present, nicely bitter, but subtle. Too good to rate, just want to sip. For a malt-fan, this is magic. Have one in my cellar - looking forward to that.

Semi-clear brown beer, almost no head. Nose is yeasty, malt and caramel, bready-fruity notes. Flavor is intense caramel, burned sugar, bready malt, vinous boozy notes. Some hops balance it nicely. Lingering caramel. Pretty delicious.

Ruby colour with good, beige head. Sweet, malty, fruity and licorice aroma with some herbal notes. Taste is also sweet with fruits, herbs and hint of honey. Very good balance and masked alcohol. Soft carbonation.

Bottled in Craft Republic. Amber red colour. Very intensive malty aroma of dried fruits and raisn. Sweet rich malty start very similar to aroma, very full body, alcohol is hidden good enough, growing noble hop bitterness in finish and aftertaste. Balance is close to perfect. Good english style barleywine.

A weird smell of tenderized meat. Very strong but not bitter at all: like a good porto. Lovely reddish color. Not my kind of beer but a very good representant of the barley wine category.
