Countbeer (4397) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - OCT 7, 2012
Draught @BBF’12: Small creamy lacing on top of a dark hazy amber colored beer. Smell hops, citrus, oatmeal, a hint of wood, creamy and some barleys and fruits. Taste lots of hop flowers, some hop bitter, creamy barleys, dark fruits, smooth spices, some light spicy wood tints, creamy, light bitter even a bit light sweet. Aftertaste is light bitter with some sweet fruity barleys and hops. Bitter but also sweet. Low carbo, soft creamy mouthfeel, medium to full body and a soft light creamy texture.

abemorsten (2746) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - OCT 7, 2012
On tap at Borefts Beer Festival 2012. Hazy hazelnut-orange body with a beige film. Raisin, spruce, pollen, fruity notes, dried fruits complex nose. Salty, heavy sweet, earthy notes and fruity flavors. Full bodied. Unfortunately the extra features of this version does not succeed in hiding the light sickening aspects of the original the way the dry hopped version does.

Christian (11058) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 7, 2012
Boreft Beer Festival 2012. Hazy copper with a disappearing white head. Strong alcoholic aroma with lots of grassy hops, a fruity hint and some lemon peel. Cloying, sugary sweet flavour with malt syrup character. Grassy hops in the finish.

PhillyCraft (3190) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Sample at the 4th annual Borefts in Bodegraven. Hazy golden brown pour with medium head/lace. Aromas of oak, sweet malts, candy sugar, and fruity hops. Taste is much of the same but with more layers and butter from the cognac. Smaller tastes of earthy pine wood and some sweet tasting booze. Really enjoyable.

Slightly hazy amber colour, light beige head. Aroma of hops, quite floral, sweet fruit, wood, cognac, alcohol and a light burned tone. Flavour is light sweet, alcohol sweetness, light bitter, wood, vanilla, orange marmalade and malts. Very lovely. Full body, long finish, wood, cognac, fruity hops.
Nice one!

bierkoning (10172) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - OCT 4, 2012
Tap @ Borefts 2012. Lots of Cascade hops and a hint of oak in the aroma. Full bodied, sticky, thick mouthfeel. A mouthful of beer. Malty, very sweet flavor with loads and loads of grassy hops, but also quite noticeable barrel ageing. Burning brandy flavors. Long sugary sweet aftertaste with earthy hops. There is much of everything, but still this beer is well balanced. Top class!

gEUS (1044) - Linden, BELGIUM - OCT 3, 2012
tap @ BBF ’12 - less yummie than the straight Cascade. the barrel brings out the cheesiness of the hops. Grassy notes make that there is something off. In the taste everything is more mellow and less edgy than the other version. Still very Ok though!
