3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap @ Mikkeller Bar, Cph.
Pours completely black and the head is gone as it pours. Sweet aroma, light smokey, sugary, a little honey, softly roasted, raisin and port. Low carbonation, okay and rather oily mouthfeel. Flavour is a little sharp, a tad too much alcohol and too heavy on the oak flavours. Otherwise a great smokey, chocolatey taste. Certainly not De Molens best Imperial Stout.
