Draught @ <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/brewers//brouwerij-de target=_new> Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. Unclear medium orange color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate to light heavy hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (030308)

Bottled. An unclear? dark golden pilsener with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fresh hops, and earth, as well as lighter notes of malt and citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus, malt, hops, and alcohol, as well as light notes of dust and over ripe fruits, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2010 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of MiP. Pours a very unclear, greyish golden with a gigantic, white head leaving laces. Fresh, lightly floral aroma. Medium body with lightly sweet malt and a very soft mouthfeel. Floral hops and a rather bitter finish. 230807 and 040610

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge, white and collapsing white head. Aroma is dry phenolic and slight grassy. Sweet malty and light citrusy flavoured. Rather mellow yeasty flavoured. Sweet and light fruity lingering into the finish. Lingering fruity finish. Nice one.

Bottle shared by TBone, thanks. Hazy yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is grass, spices, yeast and some fruityness. Flavour is hops, fruits, caramel, grass, yeast and mild notes of herbs. A pleasant and wellbalanced brew.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2009 Bottled at Monk’s Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. (as de Molen Pilz). Bright cloudy yellow, small coarse head. Sourish grainy nose. Chewy, bready grainy malt dominates, spicy grassy hops contribute. Dryish and fairly light bodied with chewy mouthfeel and medium bitterness. De Molen is not really playing at home in this style.

Bottle at bager. Hazy golden coloured with a meidum sized white head. Fruity aroma of grass, hops and pine needles. Fruity flavour of hops, grass, hay and pine needles. Dry hoppy finish.

Bottle, 5.0%. Weak citric and fruity aroma. Cloudy, almost muddy, yellow colour. Small, frothy, but stable, white head. The flavour is a lot better than expected, but not so pilzy. Fruity flavour with a hint of sweetness. Good dry bitterness.

Bottle @ Bir and Fud beershop, Rome. Pours unclear yellow with a small creamy head and lacings. Nose is raw cabbage, yeast and dust. Medium to thin palate. Unclean

(33cl bottle, BB 04/09/12) Pours a hazy pale yellow body with a tall white head. Aroma of nuts, toasted grain, light citrus, and earth. Flavor of nuts, honey, toasted grain, and florals with a soft mouthfeel and crisp bitter bite on the finish. Excellent!
