Backlog. Bottle, young, enjoyed early 2007. Blonde to amber color. Big uneven head. Aroma’s of fruit, alcoholic, malt & grain, with some sweetness & caramel retronasal. Flavor is lightly sweet with some light fruity acidity. Medium to full body. Quality tripel.

Old bottle found in the cellar of the mill. When poured a nice but subtle head forms. Then the aroma, loverly plum, deep red fruits, almost a touch of barleywine like deep malts, very intense. Doesn’t remind of a tripel anymore, but it does smell lovely. Flavour is sweet and very fruity malt, touch of spices, and again that faint hint of barleywine. Wow, this stuff is holding up great. Wondering how it was originally.

A Mes rate. Bottle at home on NYE.
Hazy orange colour with a decent white head. A straight forward BeNeLux type beer. Lots of fruit and yeast with a good hit of spice and a sweet alcohol finish giving some pineapple notes. Good dry and bitter finish. Not my style but a decent tripel.

Bottle, thx to jbrus. It pours with a lot of microfloaties in an else clear, golden body. Off-white head. Spices, pale malt and citrusy fruityness in the aroma. The flavor is quite bitter and fruity with a balancing sweetness, leading to a lasting finish with spices, fruityness and some bitterness. Medium to full body, quite effervescent in the mouth. Pleasant, but untypical tripel. (080411)

(3/15/08) Draught sample at Brouwerij de Molen in Bodegraven. Hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of yeast, some coriander and fruits. Sweetish flavor of malt and hints of caramel at first, turns yeasty and spicy with coriander and finishes dry with hoppy hints. Medium-bodied. Quite good.

Sweet aroma of citrusfruit and some sugar. Sweet fruity taste, technically well brewed but a bit on the sweet side, like most Dutch tripels. Enjoyable enough though.

Bottle - Hazy amber body, lasting off white head; Pleasant strange bubblegum pineapple nose; Quite full soft texture, bitter and slightly yeasty harsh body; Powerful finish, soft slightly sweet, very strange yeasty harsh. Good or bad?? Definitely different.
