A: The beer pours a murky dark brown color with a small off-white/khaki head. S: A pretty malty beer. Lots of toasted bread, caramel, and toffee with a touch of dark fruit. There’s a bit of oak and vanilla character to it as well as a very subtle roast. T: Decently fruity with notes of red wine, raisins, and plums. The malts make up the bulk of the flavor with toast, toffee, and a little bit of caramel and brown sugar. There as a very mild vanilla note as well as a touch of oak. M: Medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Fairly smooth on the tongue. O: Sort of muddled, especially the aroma. Not bad, though.

A clear dark brown colored beer, with a dark beige head. The aroma of fruits like cherries with hops and a little note of wood. The taste of dark fruits, a very small sour. Wood notes with some vanilla. The aftertaste has bitterness with fruity sweets.

Malzig-fruchtiger Antrunk mit ausgewogener herben Würze. Aromatischer werdend, doch wegen der bestehenden Wässrigkeit nicht vollmundig. Im hinteren mittelteil erneut fruchtig, die Würzigkeit stagniert. Harmonisch, hintergründig vielseitig und für 12.7% unglaublich mild! /13/12/12//12

Bottle. Pours deep brown colored with a nice creamy lacing and lasting light brown head. Aromas of caramel, red fruit, oak, dried fruit, salt and mild smoke. Mildly tart flavor with notes of red fruits, oak, chocolate, caramel, dried fruit and sweet licorice. Great beer. Sadly i only bought this one bottle two years ago :O(

At a tasting, thanks DSG, pours black with a tan medium head, aroma of cherries, cherry liquor, nuts, wood and wine, flavor is citrusy with wood, nuts , sour cherries and a touch of coffee, medium to full body, nice one.

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, alcohol, oak, liquorish and chocolate. Flavour is roasted malt, light acidic, alcohol, liquorish, oak and chocolate.

At a tasting, thanks DSG, smallish head, dark brown colour, aroma of cherries and very ripe berries with vanila and oxidised notes, flavour of chocolate, dried fruits, wood and a hint of nuts with a strong sourness. Just good.

Bottle at a tasting, thanks DSG, dried fruits, dried berries, strawberry jam, some chocolate, weak coffee, cocca powder, some wood, some vinous tartness and dryness especially in the finish, full bodied, very good.
