4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 SuzyGreenberg (1614) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 15, 2010
750 ml bottle; wow, thanks Tom!! #100 marked on the bottle; pours dark brown and mostly flat with thin tan ring along the edges; aromas of brown sugar, yeasty spice and musky malts; drinks very, very sweet with orange peels and spice; tick, syrupy texture drinks with just a touch of alcohol; normally I’d say this was a little too sweet, but works really well here; damn good

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 RoyceH (1153) - Hesperange, LUXEMBOURG - SEP 27, 2008
Draught, EBF, Copenhagen, 2008. A masterpiece. Nose initially hints at sour, some raspberry vinegar, with a sweet, almost clinical, talcum undertone. Mouth is sweet, initially, then a punchy sourness, cherry undertones, wood and cherry stones. Finishes sweet and fruity. Very very good, very complex, and one of my favourites of the festival. Absolutely stunning.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 tastybeer (1045) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 21, 2011
Bottle, courtesy GT2. Pour is hazy brown with a tan head, good retention/lacing. Aroma is caramel, dark fruit, fruity esters, prunes, hazelnut, light oak. Flavor is very sweet with dark fruit, hazelnut, wood, cocoa notes. Somewhat dry and booze finish, sticky texture, medium-full body. I’d give this a few more years to dry out.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 phredrik (881) - Aalborg, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2010
Deep nut brown with a dense small light brown head. Aroma is roasted, chocolate, lots of oak and vanilla, dark berries, dark fruits, aging really shines through. Gorgeous smell. Taste is nice and roasted, has both a belgian yeast characteristic and an american roasted touch, extremely well done barrel aging, dark dried fruits, nice yeast sweetness, oak, vanilla, port like, a little spicey, maybe cinnamon. God øl.
