330 ml bottle at home - pours deep brown to light black with a thin light beige head. Sweet otange, chocolate, roasted malt, some caramel. Medium body with a nice balance between the roasty and hoppy characteristics. Taste is somewhat harsch due to the greenish hop flavoues and a tad metally.

Tap at the Exmouth Arms, 06/08/13. Light black with a good sized tan covering - good lacing ensues. Nose is pine, touch of cats piss, roasty notes, cocoa, bitter hops, tropical fruit tang. Taste comprises earthy hops, bitter tropical notes, light soap, bery fruits, touch of cocoa. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the finish. Countbeer (6192) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 18, 2013
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Amber brown pour. Medium sized, pretty vast, and slowly changing beige light brown foamy head on top of a deep dark brown to black beer with the tiniest ruby shine. Aromas of hops, floral, liquorice, cream, coffee, herbs, roast, nettle toast, some chalk, hints of grains and chocolate. Flavours of bitters, roast, liquorice and liquorice wood, chocolate, hops, grapefruit, light coffee, hint of apricot, yeast, herbal and hop bitters and a hint of something flowers ish... Aftertaste is bitter, floral, roast, herbal, light liquorice wood and floral coffee... Nice bitter. Low carbo, soft creamy silky mouthfeel, medium bodied and a thick creamy texture. This could easily be a stout. It’s different but it’s nice. But next time do as the lads of Brand do, add more hops! :-)
