Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a hazy straw with a large, fluffy white head. Aroma is full of bubblegum and spiced notes. Cloves and herbal notes come through in the taste with an overriding bubblegum essence. Not bad, definitely a quaffer

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 yngwie (9195) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 6, 2010
Bottle, 75cl corked. It’s more or less clear in the class, copper-colored and topped by a finger-thick, dense, beige head. It’s meaty and malty on the nose, with clear indications that a sweet flavor is to expect. Some dried fruits and caramel too. It’s full-bodied and sweetish on the palate, and with caramel sweetness and dried fruits in the flavor, both initially and in the end. A nice doppelbock, although it differs a bit from the German tradition, tasteful and pleasant to drink. Wouldn’t mind to have it again some day. 100611

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 alexsdad06 (2344) - Ohio, USA - SEP 4, 2010
750ml corked and caged bottle purchased in Reno. Pours a deep copper brown color with a large fluffy ecru head. The aroma was earthy, roast, moderately sweet caramel, some woodiness, with hints of fruit and smoke. The flavor had much of the same earthiness, herbal notes, roasted malt, some dark fruits, and caramel. There were two things that bothered me and really had me questioning the age of the bottle and how it was stored. This had a metallic quality that didn’t belong as well as a higher than expected degree of tartness. These didn’t go with what was otherwise a pretty good beer.
