3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20 phredrik (986) - Copenhagen (formerly Aalborg), DENMARK - MAR 11, 2011
Pours amber with immense head, which already here makes me suspect this of being heavily carbonated. More on this story. Aroma is piney, orange, fresh hops, crispy caramel and caramelized nuts. Taste is very overpowered by the immense carbonation that just makes the beer explode in your mouth. But when I finally got to taste through the carbonaiton, it had fresh hops, grape, pine, tangerine. Nice taste, but far too much carbonation. Maybe it was a bad bottle, but nonetheless far too excessive.
