(bottle, 75cl) Cloudy, orange-amber colour with a huge and slightly off-white foamy head. Intensively fruity, piney and spicy hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit, oranges, pineapples and juniper/gin, backed by a hearty and mildly sweet malt-character. Sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied with an almost crisp carbonation. Initially very fruity hoppy and rounded malty taste with orange zests and rising piney and herbal spicy notes, reminding me of juniper-berries and laurel; mildly bitter and sweet malty finish with very long lasting and assertive aftertaste. Very complex and tasty IIPA. 18.V.11

Bottled. Hazy orange brown color, big rocky off-white head. Lovely hop aroma of grapefruit, tangerine, some pine. The simcoe really does the trick here I think. Good bitter taste, some oranges again. Slight sweet, but matches good with the bitterness. Very nice strong IPA.

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning. Light brown colored with huge, off white head. Aroma’s of resin, grapefruit, with malty sweetness. Flavor is (caramelish) sweet and slightly bitter, well balanced. Medium bodied. Lots of CO2 makes it foaming in the mouth. Lots of flavor, well balanced, like this a lot.

Cloudy amber - brown beer. Big fluffy off white head. Milky sweet creamy head that also has mild fruity sherbet! Frothy palate, perhaps a little over carbonated. Sweetish hops. Fresh orange, mango and peach. Traces of Sorachi lemon. Finishes softish and semi dry with a trace of aniseed and a fair bit of hop bitterness. Very nicely joined up bitter sweet DIPA.

33cl Bottle. Pours a ruby red to brown body, opaque, huge thick fluffy head. Very hoppy aroma, grapefruit, intense. Taste fruity and bitter. Grapefruit, apricot, medium to full-bodied. No overwhelming malt-backbone which makes the bitterness stand out. Balanced and drinkable.
