(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20120209) The beer poured brown and quite clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had caramell, malts and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, hops, caramell and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. An ordinary doppelbock with bit more sweetness than they usually show.

Bottle from Bierkompass.de web shop. Dark brown color with medium white head. Aroma of honey, roasted malt, prunes, raisins. Taste, roasted malt, honey, plums, alcohol, strong bitterness in background. Bitter finish. Good.

From a bottle at home in Skövde. Dark amber beer with a offwhite head. Malty aroma with nutty and fruity notes. A bit floral flavour with malt and nuts.

AROMA: alcohol, strong malt APPEARANCE: amber, clear, no head TASTE: light sweetness, medium bitter, PALATE: medium body, sticky, flat, long finish, OVERALL: good beer, almost the full aromas and body of an abdij beer, too flat.

Bottle. Amber beer with a small beige head. Malty aroma with spicy notes, roasted, some toffee notes and some fruits. Malty flavor, toffee, nuts, chocolate, brown sugar, vinous notes, some fruits. Malty finish with nutty and vinous notes. Nice complex beer with a rather full body.

33cl bottle. Ruby coloured with minimal tan head. Aroma is moderate malty, slightly sweet and some traces of red fruits. Flavour is moderate toasty, malty, caramelish and a moderate bittery final. Carbonation is soft. Body is medium.

Nose is caramel malt, some slight vinegar and toffee. Mouth is sweet and alcoholic. Palate sweet and coating. Bit straightforward and ok.
