A very satisfying beer. Dry yet refreshing. Has the typical molen flavors but without the overpowering Saaz hop they usually do. It’s a bit more in balance with this one. Some fruitiness, spiciness, mild sweetness and light bitter. Very refreshing on a hot summer day!

Hazy light golden color. Moderate, slightly off-white head. Hints of malt predominately masked by a fresh hops aroma. Scents of grapefruit and orange zest, along with just a bit of spruce. A somewhat typical PNW light IPA nose. As I continue I do catch a bit of menthol as well in the nose. Fairly light flavored, at least from the malt department. It does have enough body, just does not seem to have the depth. Actually, considering the relatively low ABV, this offer quite a bit. I could use a few more fuller flavored brews that are not “big” brews. 3/10

11.2 ounce bottle poured into a pilsener glass. The beer is a darker, somewhat hazy gold with a big white head of foam. Huge head, even. The head does die down at a reasonable rate, though. The aroma has dry, grassy, a little bit fruity, and musty notes throughout. Kind of reminds me of hand soap. The taste makes me think honey initially, but then it moves to a green tea, and then to lavender. Soft floral sweetness in the taste, with a bit of rose honey coming through. Fairly light body and a medium carbonation level. All in all, it is unlike any bitter I have ever had before. Very interesting.

Bottle, 33cl, 1 y. o. Pours orange tea with copper notes and nice foam head that leaves a lacing for a while and than goes away completely. Aroma dominated by floral, grassy and hay notes but not too imposed. Medium carbonized. Taste is a bit too flat to me, slightly bitter with hops leaving some floral impressions, fruity and sour, dry finish. Not bad. Not great. Maybe fresh would taste better.

330ml bottle. Clear golden in colour with lots of bubbles, thin white head, light lacing. The aroma is of grains, cookies, some wheat, light sweetness, grass and herbs. The flavour is a bit thin, lightly bitter, cereal and wheat, very faint caramel. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, light body, mild carbonation. Finishes average length, some bitterness. Totally my fault this one is. Possibly 2 years past the date. I imagine that this would be fantastic fresh.
