A very satisfying beer. Dry yet refreshing. Has the typical molen flavors but without the overpowering Saaz hop they usually do. It’s a bit more in balance with this one. Some fruitiness, spiciness, mild sweetness and light bitter. Very refreshing on a hot summer day!

Bottle @ home. Slightly hazy amber, with a trace of a white head and a few bubbles. Sweetish tangerine and apricot fruit, biscuity malts and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Bottle, 33cl, 1 y. o. Pours orange tea with copper notes and nice foam head that leaves a lacing for a while and than goes away completely. Aroma dominated by floral, grassy and hay notes but not too imposed. Medium carbonized. Taste is a bit too flat to me, slightly bitter with hops leaving some floral impressions, fruity and sour, dry finish. Not bad. Not great. Maybe fresh would taste better.

Bouteille un peu vieille... Couleur orange, bon lacing faible mousse tout a disparu... plus d’amertume, plus de goût...

330ml bottle. Clear golden in colour with lots of bubbles, thin white head, light lacing. The aroma is of grains, cookies, some wheat, light sweetness, grass and herbs. The flavour is a bit thin, lightly bitter, cereal and wheat, very faint caramel. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, light body, mild carbonation. Finishes average length, some bitterness. Totally my fault this one is. Possibly 2 years past the date. I imagine that this would be fantastic fresh.

Bottle at home. Pours cloudy yellowed orange with a small, fizzy white head, medium to short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is grassy, herbal, earthy and woody hops, light grapefruit notes and cracker malt. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness, lactic citrus notes, supporting malt and a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation.

Draft at Monks. Hazy medium amber pour with bright white foam that left lace. Blonde toffee caramels. Tangelos. Feels fairly watered down but still better than the 4.5 ABV might suggest. Thankfully not too sweet. Dry peppery finish. Doesn’t feel like a proper Bitter to me at all.
