Cask@GBBF2007. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is really fruity and hoppy along with caramel. Flavour is honey, fruits, some slight papery nose and really caramelly. A very nicely balanced thing.

Bottle. Hazy amber with a fierce, but stable off-white head. Good citrus aroma and flavours, quite a bit of orange zest. Decent bitterness. Very good, but far from a bitter. Tastes like a good saison.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Drake (5232) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - FEB 21, 2011
Bottle from State Line Liquors. Pours a hazy peach color with a large sticky white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of big huge citrus hop notes with quite a bit of tropical-ness in there as well. Some cinnamon, caramel and nutty notes in the background. The taste is citrus and leafy hops notes, caramel and a toasted grain finish. Medium bodied. Nice beer.

Bottle. Bright, lightly hazy amber with stable lacey head. Hoppy aroma smells delicious, with an array of different hops. Some smell American, some English, some are earthier and some more pine and fir. Nice. Soft luscious palate. Flavors are nice, quite complex. A lot is going on here. Fruit rind bitterness lingers on the tongue and almost has an attendant pleasant tartness. Great malt character, no caramel is interfering. Nice, dry, and citrusy.

Citrus/lemon in the flavor, medium in body. This is the first De Molen brew I’ve had, interested to see what some of the others taste like.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy honey orange. Absolutely massive pure white bubble bath style foam with thick soapy lacing strips. There is a good bit of carbonation on this brew. Aromas and taste of lemon saison funkiness, caramel, smoked nuts, pepper, malty rye bread, english malts and pilsner malts. Finishes crisp and refreshing. Great session beer from one of my all-time favorites. Proost!

Clear amber with big white head. Aroma is really nice citrus hops, lychees I think. It’s fairly high carbonated, which is fine for a thirst quencher. Nice. Will have this more often when the days grow warmer!

Bottle @ Kafe Belgie. Fruity smell, herbal hops coming in. Nice fruity sweetness in taste with a lingering piney hopbitterness. Fullbodied, considering its abv.
