sleepylopes (281), New York, USA Mar 24, 2008 raw hop skunk and sweat bread. Flavor is fructose and dry hop that compliments nicely. Smooth and ballanced. Slight harshness to the overall flavor mostliky from the cask... Ballances out the sweetness.
armando629 (434), Budapest, Hungary Sep 29, 2008 0,33 l bottle. It is a very deliciuos beer. Cloudy golden body whit a nice white head. Complex aroma of hop resin with wild fruits. The taste is all about the hops, resin with a hint of caramel, some fruity notes. Fine aftertaste of hop. jerohen (1479), Bussum, Netherlands Sep 28, 2008 Bottled 0.7 liter, a gift from Menno. The cork popped before i had even removed the metal wire. Cloudy golden coloured, big lasting white head. Hoppy nose, very fruity, some yeast. Hoppy flavour, bitter, yeasty. Bitter finish. Pretty solid thirst quencher. But it doesn’t really taste like a bitter to me, it’s more a saison as mentioned by others. thebeertourist (1889), Oslo, Norway Sep 20, 2008 Bottle. Hazy amber with a fierce, but stable off-white head. Good citrus aroma and flavours, quite a bit of orange zest. Decent bitterness. Very good, but far from a bitter. Tastes like a good saison. Magic_dave6 (4012), London, Greater London, England Sep 18, 2008 Cask at GBBF with the party bus boyz. Alround rating: Very good pale ale here, balanced, citrus, biscuity malts, grassy hop. Excellent stuff. Doppelganger (1199), Oxford, Oxfordshire, England Sep 13, 2008 Cask, BSF at the GBBF. Caramel color with a bit of haze, white head. Honey, ripe grapefruit, musky/melon. Chewy citrus hop pellet flavor, nice lemon honey sweetness and brisky hops, but the husky veg quality of the hops is kind of off-putting.
