4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Rastacouere (5920) - Montréal, - OCT 3, 2007
Remarkably extracted honeyed malt flavours. Pour is medium amber, murky and topped bu a massive white foam. Fresh citrusy hops blend into nectar while grassy and brown sugar notes are unveiled and developed in the second half of the palate. A very successful brew. Delicious sweetish, yet balanced palate. Different than what the English are doing, but better than most.

330ml bottle from Bierkompass
Pours dark murky orange with a small foamy head. Aroma of apricose, malts, fruits, wood and lemon. Taste is slightly malty with notes of wood, fruits and hints of apricose. Finish is malty with wooden and fruity notes. Nice, quite tasty for such a low ABV.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 berlinoise2go (379) - NORWAY - MAY 16, 2012
Bottle (33cl). Huge offwhite head, settles as a thick, uneven layer with some sticky lacing. Hazy amber colour. Rich aroma of hops, Belgian yeast, caramel, biscuits, resin, fermented fruit. Lively, yet soft carbonation. Medium/light body. Taste is fruity with some sweetness initially, then a robust bitterness takes over, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Feels well-balanced overall.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 nimbleprop (2226) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAY 3, 2012
Cask conditioned bottled beer? I don’t think so. 12 oz bottle pours a hazy, deep yellow with a very frothy, active white head. Just looking at it, you can tell there’s an unnatural amount of carbonation. This has to be infected. Yep, it smells infected: coriander, grass, lemon rind, vegetal. Flavor is... you guess it, infected, lemon rind, white peppercorns, green bell peppers, dried hops. Medium bodied, gross, grass finish. Super infected. Gotta love these $6 drain pours.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 madmitch76 (6193) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 29, 2012
3rd August 2009 Bottle. Cloudy brown beer. Palate is as flat as a pancake, zero carbonation. Soft cocoa chocolate with a very very small hop presence at the finish. Think this one is not right. Need to try another.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 hawthorne00 (1436) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - APR 29, 2012
Bottle. Pale gold with a huge white head, high bead. Aroma is floral and biscuity with oranges, apricots and wood. Highly carbonated mouthfeel - another de Molen beer that’s not made it here how its supposed to. A swirl after 5 minutes produces 3 inches of foam. Eventually it’s drinkable and it’s fine underneath. Light bodied with cleanish biscuit, oranges and a dry, slightly woody finish. Obviously a better beer than it showed here.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Idiosynkrasie (527) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - APR 22, 2012
330ml bottle. Cloudy copper colour with small white head. Fruity aroma, apricot, peach, mango. Taste is a bit metallic, in fading away a bitter hop note and a shadow of the fruit aroma pass by.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 lusikka (2533) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 13, 2012
330 ml bottle. 30 EBU, 22 EBC. Bottled on 02.03.2012.
Pours a hazy dark amber copper colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of sweet caramel, perfume and some sweetish maltiness. Flavour of sweet malts, bitter hops, caramel, exotic fruits and nuts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and slick mouthfeel. Finishes sweet, malty and light bitter. Homebrewish, but still quite tasty.
