Ahumada, eso lo resume todo. A mí me encanta pero entiendo que no es una cerveza para todos los paladares, aunque a quien sea capaz de sacarle el gustillo la disfrutará muchísimo.

Smokey nose. Pale beige fast disappearing head. Dark black reddish color. Slightly hazy. Malty and hoppy slightly sour taste. Not very smokey. Interesting beer.

Malty, good balance between biterness and alcohol. Nice aromas and good carbonatation, really good beer to enjoy.

Cask at Borefts 2011. Poured dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of roast malt with fruit and hops. Flavour of smokey malt don’t mesh that well with the hops. Dry smokey aftertaste.

Bottled. Very deep reddish brown colour (close to black), with a beigeish brown small creamy head. Aroma is smoked wet wood, mild roasted malts, some slight floral and liquorice notes. Flavour is roasted malts, smoked wood, some mild sweet alcohol sweetness along with some fruity and floral notes. Quite bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, smoke, citrus and pine. Flavour seems a little unbalanced and strange for the style. Fairly sweet going into a long very bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Black color, medium sized head, beige, creamy. Very nice aroma of smoke, chocolate, and something pungent, probably the hops, fruity. Good body, with very smooth mouthfeel; roasted malt flavor, dark chocolate, smoke, strong bitterness and light sourness. Excellent.

from Erzbierschof - cloudy dark brown beer with a long lasting creamy beige foam; superb lacework; robust aroma showing an interesting battle between a solid smokiness and a robust hoppiness; smoed bacon, cream and fruity tones; full-bodied and a velvety palate; strongly bitter and hugely smokey; long notes of almonds and ripe fruits; some residual sweetness - a complex and challenging fireworks !

Bottle from brewery. Dark brown color with huge beige head towering over my glass. Aroma of roasted malt, smoked bacon. Taste, roasted malt , hops, overlapped wit strong smokiness. Strong smokey bitter finish. Excellent.

Boreft Beer Festival 2011. Sample gravity served. Off white head. Deep ruby clear pour. Snokey hoppy taste. Nice beer!
