Bottle at Borefts ’13, 28/09/13 thanks to Kenny for the share. Murky dark amber with a thinnish light tan head. Nose carries a big coffee blast, roasty malts, mineral notes. Taste comprises roasted coffee, light cocoa, dark malts, earthy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Decent balance, not to sweet, good level of coffee.

Borefts Beer Festival 5. Day 2. Bottle, big thanks to Dennis for this. Very hazy brown beer. Small pale cream colured head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Rich fruity coffed - a strong taste but it’s not heavy. Touch of espresso, little earth. Nice fruity tang. Finishes light and semi dry. Very nice coffee beer.

Thx! for the share. 750 ml. bottle sampled @ Borefts 2013. Bottled on 21/03/2013. Pours a very murky brown with no head. Nose is chocolate, roasted malts, sweet brown sugar & some chilli. Taste is mild chilli, light roast, chocolate, brown sugar, light smoke, very messy, earth, dirt, cold coffee, herbal,… Flat & murky. Very messy stuff but enjoyable.
