Draught at Pibar, Lausanne, February 2014, batch 1211, 6.2, bb nov 2014
Light amber color, bright, hazy, with medium sized head. Aroma of vegetables and dust, light yeast, although not too offensive. Lean and dry mouthfeel; some malt, but mostly a strong vegetable bitterness, disturbing for quality and strength.
Not good.

Warm reddish brown colour, opaque, with a nice foamy head. Smell is citric (somewhere between oranges and grapefruits) with some leather, subtle wood and flowers. Maybe some subtle honey, citric peels. Taste is quite bitter sour but well balanced with water. Refreshing with an interesting dry finish which develops subtle caramel tones.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is lightly medicinal, woody with a bit of meat and light veg. Medium body, mild carbonation. Toast, rye, marmalade, caramel, pine, lemon... It’s fine, nothing special.

Bottle at home, from a trade with Countbeer, thanks. Poured into a tulip, ABV 6.3% Deep golden orange colour on a crystal clear body, with minimal activity in it. Two fingers of off-white head, with good retention. Lots of lacing left on the glass’ walls. Looks pretty good. Aroma is fruity with light tropical fruits but also nuts, grains. Taste of grass, nuts, moderate hoppy with nice bitterness in it, also fruity with some light citrus. Interesting all in all. Medium thin body, soft carbonation, quite dry on the palate. Overall a nice beer, a bit weird maybe at first but it doesn’t take long to grow on you.

Bottle at home. Gusher. Hazy orange pour, foamy white head. Aroma of soapy fruits, lime and yeasty. Flavor is quite sweet, fruity, watery and soapy. Thin body and low carbonation. Not too exciting.
