Countbeer (4744) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - JAN 24, 2011
Draft @ PWBF’11: Small airy brown head on top of a deep dark brown to black beer. Smell liquorice, chocolate, yeast and light sour. Taste is a mix of nuts, liquorice, brown sugars, hints of wood, yeast, sweets and alcohol. Bitter and light dry in the end. Oily texture. Low carbo, full body and a soft oily mouthfeel.

At a tasting, Many thanks DSG, pours chocolate color to black with almost no head, aroma of honey, brett, caramel, chocolate, red wine, cherries, wood and nice acidity, flavor is a bit smokey with wood, brett, red wine, caramel, almost no carbonation, relatively dry and sours with some whiskey warmth, bitterness feels low relative to its IBU, full bodied, complex and interesting

Sampled at Copenhagen beer festival 2011. Dark brown with a ruby shade. Distinct cherry wildfermentation aroma with strong notes of coffee, rye, bread and roasted malts. Fresh fruity belgian yeast sweetness, cherry and a mild roasted bitterness. Complex and delicious.

27-MAY-2011,draft @Copenhagen Beerfestival. This was on my WANT-list for the festival. Black with creamy lasting beige head. Lovely cherry sour nose. Taste is only slightly tart with lots of cherries and hints of brett. Roasted with the cherries playing with the malts. Love it. Cherries really fit well with stouts.

In bottle thanks Craig. Pours a very dark brown colour with a thin light tan head. An amazing aroma of Brett, cherries, roasty malt, liquorice, soy sauce and alcohol. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Alcohol is well balanced. Mildly bitter. Phenomenal!
