3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a hazy medium amber with a huge frothy white head. A gusher in fact. The aroma is smoky malt with a hint of caramel. The flavour is medium bitter with a liqourice toffee caramel malty palate. A nice enough beer. Shame about the gushing.

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
pours clear blonde, 3/4 of my glass is foam. and i poured to get the least foam possible.. seriously.. that shit is redicolous !
its very new to me that there actualy is a translation of the tittle on the label itself. also wanna nopte ; i HATE smoked’s . i bought a whole bunch of de molen’s when i learned to know them, withoud knowing whats what.. apearently, they’re not all like hel en verdoemenis, so they piled up . now i need to drink em, so i drink a de molen each day . this is day 5 , i believe. thats why i rate a beer i KNOW i wont like, probably..
smell is a bit smoked indeed, also bitter
enters realy sweet, but aftertaste is heavy smoked shit . the backgorund ( wich you almost do not taste) is decent ( a regular de molen blonde beer) but damn, that smokyness ! YUCK ... i expected the worst, so i’m glad there’s a bit more to it as well, but the smoke side IS very, very heavy in the aftertaste...
i could eather chug it , so i onley have the aftertaste once, and get myself drunk faster ( able to drink less ! ) or just drainpiour it, no aftertaste anymore, and on to a good beer. think thats what i’ll do .
i’ll say it again, IF you like smoked beers, this might be good to you . but to me, this is undrinkable. so i rate it that way . cause ratings are personal .

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Oranje. Wazig met schuimige witte kraag
Aroma: zeep, rook, mout, citrus, grapefruit

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Long neck 330 ml bottle, at home, poured into a shaker glass. ABV 4%. Bottled on 29/6/11.
Ridiculous amount of foam, it took me ages to pour a proper glass of beer because with every pour the glass was filling with foam. Speaking of the foam, off-white in colour and very soapy-like. Colour of the beer itself was a slighty hazy, pale yellow, with lots of activity in it.
Aroma is mainly smoked malts and after the foam finally collapses a bit, a yeasty smell is coming forward.
Taste follows the aroma, lots of smoked malts, a bit of fruitiness as well with faint citrus notes, and a good bitter and quite hoppy aftertaste.
Medium thick body, lots of carbonation. Little dry feeling on the palate.
Good one, my only objection is the extra ordinary amount of foam.
