Taste of chocolate, coffee, caramel. Silky texture. A good porter. [Not sure why classified as a stout when the bottle says Porter on it.] thewolf (3180), Kolding, Denmark Jun 2, 2008 Bottle. [thank you Skortila/Caesar]
No fizz when opened, a light brown colour with no head. Aroma is ghastly, liqourice and washing powder. No carbonation at all - yuk! This didn’t go well. bierkoning (4575), La Tropica, Netherlands May 26, 2008 Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Somewhat creamy aroma with licorice and hints of chocolate. Creamy, velvety flavor, almost medium bodied, with milk chocolate, raisin, licorice and hints of smoke. Some herbal hops in the finish. Very drinkable porter.
